January was a roller coaster of a month and once more, we’re ending it with a few lists. FIRE Finance has produced their Top PF Bloggers list for December 2007, and things have shuffled about a little.     Symfony 1.0.11 was released this week, closing 21 tickets and completing another milestone for 1.0.X branch. Meanwhile, symfony 1.1 added a way to mark template value as being safe for output and introduced sfFormExtraPlugin, a new plugin for packaging useful validators, widgets, and forms which will not be included in the main symfony package because they are too specific or have external dependencies.

So far from this issue I have made - quite successfully I should add - Rigatoni Milano (which was really superb and knocked my old beef and tomato pasta standby into a cocked hat), Sausage, Onion and Bean Hotpot, Pork Loin with Sauteed Kale, Apples and Chestnuts plus Chargrilled Steak with Green Olive Tapenade and Butter Bean Mash.

    January 2008 was an exceptional month for our planet. While January 2007 started out well above normal. January 2008 capped a 12 month period of global temperature drops on all of the major well respected indicators. I have reported in the past two weeks that HadCRUT, RSS, UAH, and GISS global temperature sets all show sharp drops in the last year.
