Do a Full Crawl after installing MOSS SP1
Hi all,
I have heard questions around the need to do a Full Crawl, after installing MOSS Service Pack 1. I did not see anything in the documents for SP1 that a full crawl is required or recommended.
But after talking to some of the experts, I was told that a full crawl is recommended but not required. The reason for that is there have been performance improvements made in SP1 that will leverage the information that MOSS collects in the full crawl, to make the incremental cawl much faster. So you do not have to do a full crawl after you move to SP1.lire la suite
