Edwards in an attempt to not be left out pointed out that he's visited Pakistan and met with Bhutto as well.

  Fear of this was why Musharraf cracked down. When Gen. Pervez Musharraf declared martial law — keeping opposition leader Benazir Bhutto in protective custody at her home — the world condemned him. American lefties denounced President Bush because as we all know he is omnipotent (eyeroll). I supported the crackdown, writing: Musharraf is a pro-Western man in the second-largest Muslim country on the planet.

I think it's to be expected when the news agencies push every candidate for a response and pretty much every candidate responds. We have to look at every response and what they say before defining them as capitalizing, which is what Gribbit has done.
