Happy New Year from Googling Google!
It was a great year, and this next year is sure to be just as exciting. With Android, Knol and Open Social poised to make a splash, we can expect to have some pretty interesting headlines in 2008. I have compiled a list of the most popular articles you saw on this blog in 2007.
New version of Gmail being tested
Hints of a new Gmail interface being tested, which was launched shortly after, were spotted in Google’s translation service. This has proven to be a fairly accurate way to determine what kind of stuff is coming down the pipe.

Happy New Year 2008
Just like last weekend, I'm taking a few blog days off this weekend. So, in advance, I'd like to wish everyone out there in blog land, a Happy New Year 2008! (Youtube video above) This was my first calendar year of blogging, and I cannot believe that I have been blogging (off and on) for the past year and a half. Thanks to all of your out there who stop by and actually read what I have to write. Thanks also to all the support that you have given to my radio show. I see big things for the show in 2008. And, hopefully, you'll be there to share those moments with me. Be safe this weekend, and I'll talk to you next week. Happy New Year! [lien] [EN]
Happy New Year!
Ahhhh! I did nothing on yesterday’s mid-holidays Saturday other than lie on my couch with my daughter watching HBO Family movies all day. Bliss! The Blackberry, cell phone, and email were all thankfully silent. Of course, that can change at any moment, but I enjoyed the unusual lazing around. Today, I feel re-energized and like I should do something, so here’s a happy new year post. Hope you were all more nice than naughty! For Christmas, i discovered that MASN personalities have taken up blogging during this down news cycle. Here is an interview with Jason Bergmann by Byron Kerr and New Year Wishes for the Nats by Debbi Taylor. Of course, you have to skip over all the Ravens stuff mixed in. May 2008 be all that Nationals fans dream of. A brand. [lien] [EN]

Happy New Year 2008!
Hey everyone, just wanted to wish you all a very safe and happy New Year 2008! Be safe, don’t drink and drive, etc etc. (You know the drill). In case anyone was wondering, I will possibly do a couple of posts tomorrow afternoon (Jan 1st), although most people will probably be sleeping off their hangovers and/or late nights. (Personally, I am planning a very low key evening this year. Last year was just… bad. It involved too many bottles of rum and So Co, a big group of drunken people, fighting… so this year, no drinking!) See you all next year! Happy New Year 2008: Part Deux
For those of you who have known me for a while (like a year), you know that I attempted video blogging about a year ago and did not have the best experience. Now, with a new year comes new opportunities. Or, maybe I'm just stubborn. Either way, I've decided to try this video blogging thing out again. Yes, I know, this makes me a lot less anonymous. Oh well. People who listen to my radio show live already know that I have a live video stream (sometimes). I guess I could consider changing my blogger name, and my blog name, and my radio show name. What would I change it too anyway? There's a thought. But, when it comes down to it, I think people would keep calling me "The Blogger Formerly Known as Doctor Anonymous" - remember Prince (or that unpronounceable symbol?) I've been watching this great site called Viddler. [lien] [EN]
Happy New Year (Almost)!
[Guest post by DRJ] Happy New Year from Australia: “SCORCHING temperatures all across the southeast of the country set the tone for an explosive welcome to 2008 last night, as hundreds of thousands of people took to the streets, parks and beaches to see in the new year.” From Iraq: “It was something not seen in Baghdad since before the 2003 invasion—people publicly welcoming a new year with singing, dancing and alcohol-fueled revelry. The ballrooms of two landmark hotels—the Palestine and the Sheraton—were full of people for the first New Year’s Eve celebrations after four years of violence that has bloodied Iraq.” From Britain: “In London, where 350,000 turned out for the celebrations, Trafalgar Square filled up early and people lined the Embankment to hear the chimes of Big Ben and get the best view of the annual firework spectacular at the London Eye. Happy New Year!
Another year has come and gone. And among all the tragedy and triumph, controversy and congratulations, we've survived. Amid the injuries, comebacks, and retirements, steroid allegations, tell-all books, broken records and amazing plays, the same thing keeps us coming back for more. We salivate. We yearn. We CANNOT WAIT FOR SPRING! The crack of the bat, the thump of the rosin, grand slams, stolen bags, ejections, sac bunts, swinging strikeouts, double plays. Suicide squeezes! And that elusive stunt known as the triple play. Unassisted, please! On that note, there are only 85 more days until Opening Day 2008, when the Boston Red Sox play the Oakland Athletics in Tokyo, Japan. That's 85 more days than we'd like to wait, but there are things like football and beer, sledding and March Madness. [lien] [EN]
