Randy Pausch died Friday after his battle with cancer. A Carnegie Mellon University computer scientist whose “last lecture” about facing terminal cancer became an Internet sensation and a best-selling book, died Friday. He was 47. Randy Pausch died at his home in Virginia, university spokeswoman Anne Watzman said.
When Carnegie Mellon University professor Randy Pausch learned that he only had months to live, he turned his last lecture in September 2007 into a lesson on life. The lecture, titled Really Achieving Your Childhood Dream, became an Internet sensation. It was viewed over 3. million times on YouTube Randy Pausch died of pancreatic cancer today.
