Like other music icons such as Justin Timberlake, Kylie Minogue, Pink, Jessica Simpson and Cher, now the Pussycat Dolls are working out with Bally. On the verge of releasing the follow-up album to 2005’s 7x platinum PCD and filming the music videovideofor their hot new single “When I Grow Up,” the Pussycat Dolls are getting a fitness makeover from Bally Total Fitness. For the past three weeks, the sexy singers have been following a customized nutrition plan and recently started personal training sessions, which helped them look their best during the MTV Movie Awards performance. “Like most people, the Pussycat Dolls want to lose those last few pounds to look their best this summer — and be in amazing shape for their upcoming videovideoshoot,” said John Wildman, Chief Marketing Officer of Bally Total Fitness. “We already have the Dolls on a nutrition program of 5 meals per day and 1,200 calories and they’re seeing great results. With the added help of our personal trainers, they will be toned and fit for their shoot. We are thrilled the Pussycat Dolls have chosen us, and we look forward to featuring them in our commercials this summer.” In addition to helping the Pussycat Dolls with personal training and a nutrition program, Bally will feature the Pussycat Dolls new hit song “When I Grow Up” and music videovideoin their upcoming summer advertising campaign.

Flickr/Yahoo has finally bit the bullet and added videovideosupport to their service. A cynical response might be that they clearly would like to compete with YouTube. But when reading through the FAQ and examining the system's limitations, it seems that they really are sincere in supporting "long photo" as opposed to real videos. First, there's a 90-second time limit on all uploads. Needless to say, that's extremely low. Flickr acknowledges that it "might seem arbitrary." And it is. Whether or not it supports tighter editing or cleaner presentation, why 90? Why not 89? 60? The time limit might not be a bad thing, but it's certainly arbitrary. A quick test finds that the service is no more difficult than uploading photos, and it's pretty quick to boot. Also, advanced embedding functions allow for users to choose their preferred width or height for the videovideoand the service will calculate the dimensions and update the code accordingly. That sounds like a small touch. It is, but it's also a pretty good one lacking in just about all videovideoon the web. [flickr video]
