• Call for Topics: Digg Townhall this Monday

  Hey everyone, Just a reminder to tune in next Monday night (February 25th) at 9pm EST/6pm PST for our first Digg Townhall webcast. We're partnering with Ustream to webcast this live. We’ll post the link here on the blog Monday. During the webcast we'll be talking about the latest happenings here at Digg and answer your questions. We want to make sure that we're addressing the most relevant information.

  Hey everyone, It’s time again – we're calling for questions for our next virtual Townhall which takes place here this Monday, May 12th at 8pm EDT/5pm PDT. It will be webcast live and made available for download afterwards. We'll share out the latest Digg news and discuss the topics you’d like to see covered. We’re always looking for your feedback to help improve Digg.

• Digg Townhall next Thursday

  Hey everyone, We're calling for questions for our next virtual Townhall which will take place next Thursday, August 28th at 1:30 pm PST/4:30 EST. This Townhall will be a bit of a twist, as it will be webcast live from the Digg Stage at The Big Tent at the Democratic National Convention in Colorado. (We’ll also be at the Republican National Convention the following week.) You can check out the Townhall webcast live here and it will be available for viewing anytime afterwards.

• Save the Date: Announcing Digg Town Halls

  Hey all, We’re always looking for ways to have more conversations with you to learn how we can improve Digg. To do this on a regular basis, we are launching a series of Digg Town Hall Meetings. We're holding the first of these the evening of Monday February 25th, where Kevin and I will give an update on what's happening at Digg, discuss topics that you propose.

• DIGG: Images Update

  Hey all - Just wanted to give you a status update on the Digg images project. As we’ve been cranking on this project we’re also improving the taxonomy of the site. Soon you’ll be able to submit your images, videos, or news stories to a universal taxonomy. This will allow you to see all media types in a given topic, or see just one media type at a time (i.e. just viewing images under sports).

  Hey all, Happy Earth Day! I'm thrilled to announce that Digg has been recognized as a key source of environmental news by The Daily Green and its “Heart of Green” award. The Environment topic on Digg has become one of the biggest sources for environmental content anywhere on the Web. So, in honor of Earth Day, we encourage each of you to Digg or submit something that you care about! I also want to remind everyone that tonight we're celebrating our first Digg meet.
