This photo of variable star V838 Monocerotis was taken by the Hubble telescope in 2002. At the time, no one realized how much it looked like the Firefox logo, since the browser wasn’t even named that until 2004.

Bonjour, sur mon ancien ordinateur, certaines vidéos (la plupart) que je voulais regarder sur le net ne marchaient pas: pas son, et elles bloquaient après 3 secondes environ. Eh bien là j'ai un nouvel ordi, et ça me refait le coup, avec firefox et chrome! Je suis donc obligé de regarder les vidéos sur internet explorer, ce qui est un peu pénible à la longue.

But according to a study due for publication next month, years of seeing those funky ads may have had an unexpected psychological side effect.
What to do with Citigroup (C), which has seen the value of its stock cut in half since the credit crunch began last summer? This was exactly the question contemplated yesterday by Dealbook, the New York Times blog, which offered several valuable suggestions.
