Yesterday, we had a meeting in Second Life, the virtual world at the Ann Myers Medical Center. One of our educators did a case presentation by giving us a textfile that contained the anamnesis and all the important physical signs. It was followed by some brainstorming. We had to discuss what kind of tests we would order and what kind of diagnoses we were thinking about.

We are always wanting to get the word out about bioscreencast and the benefits of screencasting as a medium of sharing knowledge. The way we see it, we really want to get scientists and students alike sharing their screencasts on our site and try our best to tell everyone about it. It felt nice to see our short spiel about our site featured on slideshare, which incidentally is a good way to share your presentations and slides with others.
Overview Second Life Simulator v1. resolves several important issues discovered through deployment of our new simulator to all of Second Life last week. In particular there are fixes that should improve performance on Openspace regions, camera behavior and the physical representation of dimpled spheres.
