Also up at the Huffington Post. years after Roe v. Wade solidified American womens’ right to abortion, reproductive rights remain in limbo. And while abortion rights are crucial to women’s health and autonomy, they are hardly the end-all be-all to reproductive justice — even if the constant attacks on those rights (and on the people who provide women with them) have forced the pro-choice movement to remain on the defensive about abortion in particular.
Filed under: News, Video MarketplaceBy golly we have another Video Marketplace Weekly first, because today is the first time ever in the Video Marketplace Weekly feature's existence that it is making its debut on a Sunday. Why a Sunday? Well, we could feed you a list of made up excuses, but we think our relationship is at a point where we can be 100% honest with eachother.
Filed under: Fan stuff, E3All week long, I (Dustin) will be recapping my daily E3 experiences through ten, count 'em, ten photographs per day in a feature we're calling The E3 Experience. How fitting, no? Seeing that this is my first real E3 with a media badge in hand, I'm a self proclaimed E3 n00b and giving insight into the day's festivities from a n00b's perspective just makes sense.
Filed under: Fan stuff, E3It's time for the Tuesday edition of The E3 Experience, where we give you a daily recap and play by play of what goes down at E3 from a n00b's point of view. That E3 n00b being me. View yesterday's E3 2008 recap by browsing the gallery below and take in the Left 4 Dead, Fallout 3, chocolate chip cookie and rockstar dreams we have to share.

Happy Canada Day in advance! Fun fact: Canadians celebrate their day of independence on whatever day is convenient because no one knows the real date. Did you know Nickelback is from Canada? Thanks Canada! But so are The New Pornographers, Leonard Cohen, and Neil Young.
Filed under: Rumors, Virtual ConsoleAnd the Nintendo of Europe site leaks another morsel of info! Not long ago, news of Nintendo selling music appeared in our RSS feed weeks early, only to lead to a dead link after it was hastily pulled by Nintendo. And now another slippage has occurred, with Nintendo accidentally revealing (what we suspect are the contents of) tomorrow's PAL Virtual Console update:

There’s lots being written about repro rights today. As a shameless self-promoter, I’ll suggest Alternet’s Reproductive Justice and Gender special coverage section – I’ve been scouring the internets for some of the best commentary and news on repro justice, and it’ll be going up throughout the day (something new will be posted every hour or two, and blog posts will start up this afternoon).
And remember that it’s Blog for Choice day too. My post will be up in a few hours. This entry was posted on Tuesday, January 22nd, 2008 at 11: am and is filed under Blog for Choice, Holidays & Celebrations, Reproductive Rights. You can follow any responses to this entry through the RSS 2.
